Reflections form the newest country in the world

Southern Sudan voted for independence on January 9th 2011. The large positive results showed how desperately people wanted to separate in order to be able to govern themselves. However problems remain in having a peaceful secession in the biggest country in Africa.
Starting June 1st, througout July 9th, when the country will declare its historical independence from the North, until August 10th, we will try to write personal reflections on our experience in Juba, our thoughts with regards to economic development and building capacity in Southern Sudan.
We are very humble and greatful for having the opportunity of assissting the people of South Sudan in such an important moment for their country.
